At ANC 2A’s special November meeting, the ANC will hold a special election for the current commissioner vacancy for single member district 2A05. Anyone who is a registered voter in single member district 2A05 will be able to participate in the special election. The meeting will be on Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Western Presbyterian Church, 2401 Virginia Avenue NW (enter through the church entrance on 24th Street NW).
Polls will be open during the meeting from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. Once the polls close at 8:30 pm, the ballots will be counted and the results will be announced by the end of the meeting. The polling will take place in the back of the ANC’s meeting room.
In order to participate in the special election, you must be a registered voter in single member district 2A05, the boundaries of which can be found on the ANC map below. Same day voter registration will not be available at the polls. All ballots must be cast in person at the meeting. The election will be administered by the Office of Advisory Neighborhood Commissions.
